— Seattle meat and seafood marketplace Crowd Cow hired Ian McAllister as chief product officer, Julie Pruitt as chief merchant, and Jeremy Sievert as VP of operations. It also appointed David Glick, CTO of on-demand warehousing startup Flexe, to its board.

“Crowd Cow has built an impressive in-house fulfillment platform and logistics capabilities, backed by a strong network of independent ranches and sustainable seafood providers,” said Glick.

Prior to Flexe, Glick spent almost two decades at Amazon and was VP of Amazon’s transportation and fulfillment technologies.

McAllister also spent more than a decade at Amazon as part of two separate stints. He helped lead AmazonSmile and the delivery experience team. McAllister also spent two years at Airbnb as director of product management.

Pruitt was most recently chief merchandising officer at health and wellness marketplace Thrive Market. She also led merchandising teams at Zulily, Walgreens and Drugstore.com.

Sievert joined from Imperfect Foods, where he was director of distribution for the Pacific Northwest.

Crowd Cow’s revenue has grown by more than 400% this year as its business has boomed amid the pandemic. The company is ranked No. 111 on the GeekWire 200, our list of top Pacific Northwest startups.
