The Rockets, one of six NBA teams permitting limited crowds to home games, drew a sellout crowd of 3,247 to their home opener. Crowd size even for sellouts will be determined by the size of groups from the same household buying tickets.
The Rockets kept groups of two to four fans at least six feet apart and with no fans seated between groups and the nearest aisle. Fans within 30 feet of the court were tested for COVID-19 in the two hours before the game.
