The Michigan Liquor Control Commission’s semi-annual public hearing will be held Wednesday, Sept. 22 in Lansing, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The public is invited to attend in-person or via teleconference.
The MLCC holds two public hearings each year, as required by law, to field complaints and comments regarding administration of the Michigan Liquor Control Code. Anyone interested in the operation of the MLCC, including government and enforcement officials, licensees and the general public is welcome to attend.
The hearing will be followed by a question and answer session.
To attend in person, go to the commission’s Lansing office, 525 W. Allegan Street in Lansing. Attendees are asked to not wear heavily-scented personal care products “in order to enhance accessibility for everyone,” as stated in a news release by the state’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
Those who require additional services to participate in the meeting, such as materials in alternative format, should call Anita Fawcett at 517-284-6310 at least two business days before the meeting.
To attend via teleconference, call toll-free 888-204-5984 at meeting time. When prompted, enter passcode 3198088.
