MISSOULA, Mont. — Missoula Animal Control says someone is impersonating a staff member and sending texts to the public with suspicious links.
If you receive a text message from someone who claims to be an Animal Control employee asking you to respond to a link with a confirmation code, do not click on the link.
Animal Control never sends text messages unless they are trying to reach an owner whose voicemail box is not set up.
