ALLEGAN, MI – Allegan city officials have launched an investigation into a firework mishap that caused panic and chaos at a community Fourth of July celebration this week.
During Allegan’s July 3 fireworks display, a firework unintentionally landed in a crowd of people that had gathered to watch the show. The misfire resulted in a few injuries, most of which were treated at the scene, city officials said.
