For the first time since 2001, the Seattle Mariners head into their final series of the season in control of their own playoff destiny. If Seattle wins the rest of the games in their regular season, they will make their first postseason in 20 years. Some serious chaos could ensue after this weekend, but the good news is this: if the Mariners keep winning through the regular season and any potential play-in games, they will get to the playoffs.
