(Press Staff Photo) A single-vehicle crash took down a utility pole along Cottage San Road just north of Silver City on Saturday night, knocking out power to a good portion of the town for more than an hour. PNM linemen replaced the destroyed pole Monday, after utility lines were temporarily supported by equipment through the weekend. Above is the temporary repair on Sunday afternoon.
