TAMPA — Three people were shot and injured at a gas station and deputies found 250 people gathered outside around 4 a.m. Sunday.
The three victims were taken to Tampa General Hospital following the incident at a Chevron station, 6812 N 56th St.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene for reports of a fight. A number of people started shooting, according to calls to 911.
Witnesses at the scene were uncooperative as deputies worked to gather information on the shooting.
“There is no question that someone has cellphone video or saw something that could help detectives locate the individuals responsible and take them into custody. We are asking witnesses to come forward,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister.
