LAKE ELMO, Minn. - Rising senior Angus Flanagan drained an eagle putt on the final hole to put himself in position to win the 2020 Minnesota State Open, headlining a host of current and former Gopher men's golfers in the field. The tournament concluded Thursday at Royal Golf Club.Flanagan, who held a one-shot lead after 53 holes of play, stuck his approach shot on the par-5, 505-yard 18th within six feet of the cup, and sank his putt for a 3, finishing his round at 8-under-par 64 and 15-under-par for the tournament (68-69-64—201).
