Taylor police are investigating a woman in a white Chevy Malibu who drove her car through a crowd of protestors who were crossing the street Tuesday evening.
No injuries were reported, and on the video, the elderly woman appears to be agitated as protesters surround her car as she is stopped in the road at a green light.
According to a Facebook video posted by Ethan Ketner, as the woman stopped for the crowd and one protester told her she is “going to wait.” That's when the woman seemed to become agitated and started honking her horn.
When more people approached her vehicle, she sped off, running over a bike.
Taylor Police Chief John Blair said the woman has been identified and will be brought in for questioning. He said there were no documented injuries, but one person on the scene claimed they had an injury and refused medical attention.
Blair said another person on the scene also claimed they were injured but their story is conflicting when compared to the video provided.
The woman driving the car is elderly, Blair said. After investigating, the case will be brought to a prosecutor to see if charges against the driver are appropriate. Blair said she could be charged with fleeing the scene.

The person who posted the video of the incident on Facebook claims the Taylor police did not want to interact with the protesters, and the paramedics "didn't want to deal" with them. Blair said this is not true, they responded to the call, and protesters refused medical attention, he said.
