The Trump administration said Wednesday that 13 coronavirus testing sites will transition to state control as part of a previously announced plan. Adm. Brett Giroir, the assistant secretary for health, told reporters that sites in Texas and other states will no longer be federally controlled. Giroir said the 13 sites are out of thousands of sites and that they can make the transition without services being lost to anyone. Giroir said the government plans to increase testing.
