After watching Taylor North win the 2021 Little League World Series championship from afar, thousands of people came out early Thursday evening to show their support for the team in person.

The city of Taylor held a parade to honor the group of 11-and 12-year-old boys, who captured the World Series title in Williamsport, Pa. on Sunday, Aug. 29 with a 5-2 win over Ohio. It marked the first LLWS crown for a Michigan team since 1959 and Taylor North was the first Downriver-area club to ever compete at the World Series.
