GREENWICH — As temperatures soared into the upper 70s, Greenwich saw many exhausted quarantiners active in the town’s parks and public spaces on Sunday.
Temps in the 70s aren’t expected to stay though, as Monday’s anticipated high is 63 degrees with cloudy skies and wind. The rest of the week is expected to see highs in the 50s with rain on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
For residents looking to get outside, Cos Cob Park will reopen to pedestrians on Monday as will the Griffith E. Harris Golf Course, which is owned by the town.
Greenwich Point Park is due to reopen on Thursday to a limited number of cars.
The town is reminding residents to practice social distancing to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
