On Oct. 12 at noon, a day of resistance protest hosted by Students United for Palestinian Equality and Return drew a large crowd of students, faculty, and other community members to Red Square.
Organizers led crowds in “Free Palestine” chants. Speeches and rally calls took place on the steps of the Suzzallo library. Pro-Israel individuals were also present at the event. Tense verbal conflict occurred.
Student groups have hosted events in response to the attacks launched by the Hamas militant group and the response waged by Israeli Defense Forces.
Further coverage on this event will be published.
