Beyoncé fans ripped apart fellow so-called members of the BeyHive over the weekend after a video showed the singer performing to a rather unenthusiastic crowd in Stockholm.
The May 10 concert also served as Beyoncé's opening night of her worldwide Renaissance tour, which only seemed to disappoint her supporters further.
In a now-viral video first shared on May 12 via TikTok, a majority of the fans are seen sitting while only a small number of those in attendance groove to the Grammy winner's performance. "Parecía una ted talk el concierto," the original user captioned the post, roughly translating to relate the concert's crowd to looking "like a Ted Talk."
The video has since been reposted on other social networking platforms, as fans called out concertgoers for looking "bored" and "energy-less."
"the crowd is so boring…" one Twitter user wrote. "like imagine BEYONCE is infront [sic] of you and all you do is stand."
Others, simply settled their spite through memes and jokes poking fun at the crowd.
The "Crazy in Love" singer even made a slight dig at the city a few days later, while performing night two of her tour in Belgium.
As evidenced by a clip attached to a May 14 tweet, Beyoncé told fans in Brussels, "Can I tell y'all, I think you're the best audience so far on tour," to which the crowd erupted in cheers.
"Absolutely," she said, nodding.
Shortly after the clip was shared to Twitter, it went viral and members of the BeyHive used it as fuel to continue piling on the crowd responsible for an "underwhelming" and "dry" vibe.
Despite what some called "weird vibes" during night one of the Renaissance tour, fans are still expressed excitement at the idea of catching the pop star live during one of her upcoming performances scheduled across the globe.
This week, Beyoncé is set to make stops in Cardiff, Wales and Edinburgh, Scotland, before heading off to Paris, France; London, England and Barcelona, Spain next week. Her North American tour begins with a concert in the Canadian city of Toronto on July 8 before starting the U.S. leg of performances in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 12 and wrapping up in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sept. 27.
