The KHSAA Board of Control will meet today with most anticipating a delay to the start of the upcoming basketball season.
Teams around the state have been practicing for several weeks now but with the season scheduled to start Monday, many are preparing for the BOC to push back the start.
The BOC work session begins at 9 a.m. EST with the board meeting starting at Noon EST.

The fourth item on the agenda for the work session is the most worrisome for winter sports as they will be discussed during this agenda item.
Swimming, wrestling, competitive cheer and dance will also be discussed under item four.
