President Donald Trump was playing a round of golf at his course in Sterling, Va. when news networks called the presidential race for Joe Biden, and by the time the president returned to the White House, a crowd was there to greet him.
Trump's motorcade returned to the White House around 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time, with crowds lining the streets in anticipation.
Reporters on the streets shared videos of the crowds who waved goodbye to the passing motorcade with chants of "Loser!" and "Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey, hey, goodbye."
In addition, a separate crowd outside the White House taunted the president by singing, "Y.M.C.A," the song Trump has been closing his rallies with.
The president has yet to concede the race, and his campaign has vowed to challenge the results court.
“Joe Biden has not been certified as the winner of any states, let alone any of the highly contested states headed for mandatory recounts, or states where our campaign has valid and legitimate legal challenges that could determine the ultimate victor," the campaign said in a statement. "Legal votes decide who is president, not the news media."
Any legal challenges are not expected to change the outcome of the race.
