Re “MBTA now provides crowd data for subway” (Metro, Oct. 1): How much did the MBTA spend on its new program to tell people that there are crowds at rush hour?
Telling people that the train will be crowded when they need to get to work or school or the doctor or to pick up the kids is worthless. Most people ride the T because they need to, and they can’t choose when it will be an optimal time.
