TFD crews control fire that ignited in midtown - KVOA Tucson News

TUCSON (KVOA) - A blaze is under control after it ignited in midtown Wednesday afternoon.

According to Tucson Fire Department, crews were dispatched to the 2400 block of North Bryant Avenue near Grant Road and Alvernon Way in reference to the fire.

Police said the blaze was burning a nearby home.

The blaze has since been controlled.

After further investigation, neighbors told the firefighters that the home has been unoccupied for a long period of time.

Details surrounding the origin and cause of the fire has not yet been released.
